Our Chaplaincy team directly drives our core mission of “Faith, Family, and Future” by offering a holistic experience where pupils grow spiritually and personally through prayer, worship, and loving service.

Here is how our daily chaplaincy activities bring this vision to life:

  • Faith: Through vibrant liturgical celebrations and daily prayer, pupils nurture their spirituality, empower themselves to live as active disciples of Christ, and build a deep, personal relationship with God.
  • Family: By participating in collaborative outreach and shared worship, pupils build meaningful relationships, learn to respond compassionately to the needs of others, and create a supportive school and parish community.
  • Future: Through rewarding leadership opportunities and a focus on social justice, pupils grow in confidence, discover their true potential, and equip themselves to positively impact the wider world.

Our Chaplain and the Chaplaincy team support the school in four key areas:

  1. Evangelisation and Catechesis – proclaiming the Word of God and deepening understanding of Catholic teaching and tradition.
  2. Prayer, Worship and Spiritual Development – fostering encounter with Christ through liturgy, prayer, reflection, and the sacramental life.
  3. Pastoral Care and Accompaniment – Providing support in times of joy, challenge, and difficulty.
  4. Parish, Home, and School Partnership – building strong connections between the school, local parishes, and families, ensuring that outreach to the parish, local community and wider world is at the heart of our school life.

The Chapel

The school chapel is at the heart of the school and is central to our spiritual life, offering a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and quiet encounter with God. Where it is positioned lends itself to spontaneous visits during both moments of personal joy and sorrow. Regularly used by both pupils and staff, it plays an important role in supporting spiritual and emotional wellbeing across the school community.
