Chaplaincy page:
“The mission of schools is to develop a sense of truth, of what is good and beautiful.”
Pope Francis
We believe Chaplaincy is about walking alongside people, building relations, being present for people and being a presence around school. It is about accompanying and supporting the School community and individuals within it on their life journey, wherever it may take them.
Currently, the school employs a Chaplaincy Co-ordinator for 22.5 hours per week. The role of of the Chaplaincy Co-ordinator is to actively support staff and pupils in equipping them to share in the mission of St Patrick’s Catholic College and the Church. In this way, the role of the Chaplaincy Coordinator supports the responsibility of all staff to invite, foster and encourage the Catholic life of the School.
