Pupil Leadership

Pupil Leadership

At our school, we believe every pupil has gifts to share. Pupil leadership gives young people real opportunities to lead, influence and make a difference – living out our motto of Faith. Family. Future.

Voting Process

The voting process for Pupil Leadership was designed to be fair, transparent and democratic. Candidates began by submitting a letter of application for the roles available. They outlined their vision, ideas for improving school life and explained why they would make a great representative.

All pupils had a vote as every pupil’s voice mattered for their Pupil Leadership.

After the votes were cast they were carefully counted and announced in a whole school assembly. This process helped the pupils learn about the importance of democracy, responsibility and the importance of active participation in school life.

Head and Deputy Head Pupils

Our Head Pupils and Deputies are role models for the whole school. They listen, support and lead, inspiring others through their actions, faith and values.

Social and Communications

This team leads pupil communication – newsletters, student voice, assemblies and digital updates. Ensuring every pupil is informed, listened to and included as part of our school family.

Sport

Sport leaders promote participation in sport as well as the values that are ever present in sport, such as; teamwork, sportsmanship and resilience. Their role is to inspire others to take part, celebrate success and grow the gifts God has given them.

Charity and Community

Our Charity and Community leaders put faith into action, working alongside CAFOD leaders and the faith in action team. They organise fundraising, support local causes and lead projects that make a positive difference beyond our school.

Wellbeing

These pupils champion positive relationships, kindness, mental health and mutual respect. This team listens to pupils and gives the tools to support our belief that everyone is valued and loved by God.

Diversity & Inclusion

Our Diversity and Inclusion leaders celebrate the uniqueness of every pupil. They help us learn about different cultures and experiences, and make sure everyone feels welcome and respected.

Eco and Sustainability

Our Eco and sustainability team protects God’s world and helps other pupils act as stewards to the world. They lead projects that reduce waste, recycle more and encourage every class to take care of creation for the future.
