At St Patrick’s pupils pay for their meals using a cashless catering system. This system includes biometric fingerprint technology which provides many benefits such as security and privacy.

Every pupil has their own meal account which is accessed using their own finger scan ID. Money can be added to the account either via ParentPay or by using the cash-loading machine located at the entrance of the school.

This technology allows lunchtime staff to automatically record the child’s meal of choice using a touchscreen terminal which also displays a photograph of the pupil.

From 1st September 2024, the cost of a school meal will be £2.80.
