At St Patrick’s pupils pay for their meals using a cashless catering system. This system includes biometric fingerprint technology which provides many benefits such as security and privacy.

Every pupil has their own meal account which is accessed using their own finger scan ID. Money can be added to pupils account via ParentPay.

This technology allows lunchtime staff to automatically record the child’s meal of choice using a touchscreen terminal which also displays a photograph of the pupil.

From 1st September 2025, the cost of a school meal deal will be £2.90. Other food options and drink items are available at different price points.

Nut-Aware School

As a nut-aware school, we prioritise the health and safety of all our pupils, including those with severe nut allergies. We kindly ask that pupils do not bring any food items containing nuts into school, including in packed lunches and snacks. While we take every precaution to minimise risk, some food items available in the dining area may be labelled as having been produced in factories that handle nuts. These products may contain traces of nuts, and clear allergen information will be displayed on a notice in the dining area to help pupils and staff make informed choices.
